What Makes You Subscribe? (13 posts)

Topic tags: email, opt in, subscribe
  • What is the number 1 reason you subscribe/opt in to someone’s email list?

  • If the info is something either A) I need to know and/or B) my clients need to know. Like SME – I learn something new every week – wouldn’t miss it!

  • @mutunga  I agree with @sharijstauch.  I subscribe to an email list because the information is useful to me personally for my business, or it’s something I feel I can use to help others.

  • I tend to subscribe as long it’s a subject I’d like to know more about, find beneficial to what I am doing, and is presented in a professional manner.

  • I agree with the previous three comments….you want to learn something new..but you are also wanting exposure for your product or service

  • like all Marketing – they have something I want.

  • This is very helpful!-Elana

  • same, same, same. I want to want these showing up weekly.

  • More than information, I look for inspiration. If a writer jolts my thinking in a way that I can make something new from what I’ve read . . . that’s the biggest value to subscribing for me.

  • I really appreciate blogs that have great posts that will benefit my business or clients as well as for sharing on Twitter for other users who find value in the post. I look for 3 or more great posts and tags before deciding.

  • The never ending desire to learn, especially when it is something for a small business owner that has to do it all! We learn from the experts to become experts. Without all that, I would have dropped my business by now!

  • The information has to be applicable to me and I want to know it will be valuable. Free stuff doesn’t do it for me anymore. I want information.Useable applicable and information I can apply to make myself, my blog, my service, my clients better.

  • If what you have is valuable enough to your ideal customers (they’re looking for results for a problem, useful tips on something they do or want to learn more about, it’s something interesting to them…etc) they will join your list.
