What is SME’s new ”Post Rating”? Anyone else notice this? (6 posts)

Saw something new pop up a few days ago.
When I send or reply to messages, I see a “15p” appear above my Points/Maven designation and below my @atlantarobin Twitter name.
What is this “post rating” and what does it mean? Anyone else notice this?

@atlantarobin I tried to look for what you saw and I didn’t see anything (tho I’m only a Whiz). Maybe it only appears at a certain level. Also, are you taking about forum messages or private messages?
@richardmclaughlin I see my new points in a floating black/gray box when applied to my account.

Recently the points system changed. Don’t remember what the points are exactly, but you can see that in your points overview. 2 points for a new contact, 20 points for a first reply….

Nope, this is something totally different. The Activity points did change, but those are in a different place.
This is slightly grayed out, appears directly below @atlantarobin, and I only notice it when I send or received private messages… obviously because my profile name and info show up then. Like right now, while I’m in this forum thread, I can’t see anything but each of our replies… no personal info about me at the top. But when I get a private message and go check it out, that page view shows all my personal points, Maven badge, etc. And THAT’s when I see this 5p or 11p or 15p thing appear.
Do yall think it might have something to do with those thumbs up or down we can now click on. I know I’ve gotten a few of those. Maybe that’s what that is.
Are they now counting points for that, too? Oh, what a little investigator I am, lol! Sorry, yall, but as you know I just notice every little thang… even when I shouldn’t, by dangy!
OK, Phil, Kristi, Rich, Mike, Alexandra, and all our Laudable Leaders, what the heckledoodles is that? I’d make a little Jing copy of what I’m seeing, but don’t know where I’d paste it or link it in order for yall to see it. Got a suggestion?
