What about my Blog Guest? (10 posts)

Topic tags: Guest blogging
  • Have you ever experienced through myblogguest.com (Ann Smarty Project).. I found many of the offers are from very new (recently open) blogs for guest posting which is not that much useful for an fresh and researched content ! what do you think? and have you tried?

  • @shazansayani I think that network can be a good source of guest bloggers, but it has also (like many communities) been taken over by Internet marketers who are looking to guest post for backlinks.

The best ways to find quality guest bloggers who are also bloggers themselves (the best kind) include:

    • Creating a guest post guidelines page on your blog.  That way people who come to your blog will see that you are open to guest posts.  Be specific so you can get the kinds of posts you want!  You can see mine here as an example – I even tell people they have to answer comments!
    • Putting a link on every post (maybe in the footer area) asking if people want to guest post, then link to your guest post guidelines page.
    • When you see a guest blogger on another site that you like, contact them (Twitter, email) and see if they want to guest post on yours as well.

  • yeah !! I do guest blogging for my company & clients website but finding a guest blogging opportunity on other niches (not related to SEO & Marketing) its hard to find blogs accepting guest post :) well I will definitely try to contact you for guest posting !

  • @shazansayani If you’re looking for guest posting opportunities, try some different Google searches such as “guest post guidelines” to see different sites that allow guest bloggers.  :)

  • That’s really good advice, @kristi-hines. Thank you!

  • Thanks,
    @kristi-hines
I have done this but my client niche is something I cannot really get good blogs for natural back links of high PR blog… having quality content! Panda made all SEO’s crazy :P

  • @shazansayani Try engaging with those people before sending your submission. Do something to attract their attention.

  • @eugenopreaThanks for reply :)

  • @shazansayani – Kristi Hine’s advice re using “guest post guidelines” is really worth thinking about.

If a site does not have guidelines posted, they may not have thought through all the details that can cause misunderstandings and bad experiences.  They should already know what they are willing to do in terms of providing a spot for guest blogger bio, backlinks, number of direct links to your site within the submitted post, who will respond to comments, etc.

    Best of luck!

    Susan

  • I’ve tried myblogguest but I am not a fan of how they want me to allow their authors to publish without my moderation.  That’s just silly.
