Using alerts to generate content (5 posts)

  • Hi there, can anyone advise me on the best alerts to use in order to get more interesting contents for a blog on photography?

  • @lynnefellows I typically just subscribe to a lot of blogs in the niche I want to write about and see what kind of topics they are covering. That way you can see what is popular among people in that industry.

Google Alerts is a good alerts system if you just want to receive daily updates whenever a specific keyword or keyword phrase comes up in search results. If you just put in photography though, prepared to get a LOT of results.  :)

  • @kristi-hines – Thanks Kristi. I have been using Google alerts and you are right in that there is quite a lot of stuff out there, but I will definitely follow more bloggers on this subject. Many thanks.

  • @Lynne Fellows I found a Google doc that’s called Content Idea Generator V2 on a site that searches different news sites for the keyword you put in the Google doc. You can learn more about this tool (which is free) at this sitehttps://seogadget.co.uk/content-strategy-generator-tool-v2-update/

Hope it is usefull to you.

  • That is a great looking tool…thanks for sharing, @Joostkokke
