Hi everyone. i was using a free wordpress them from magpress( which i startged some post already). It was the free version and i realy liked it so i purchased the upgraded one. My hostiing is with godaddy. The developer sent me the paid version. i downloaded it to my PC. According to the developer all i had to replace are these files (if i already had the free version) and it states this

If you had installed this theme before, you just need to ftp inside wp-content/themes/avare folder and replace:

sidebar.php
lib/functions/theme-functions.php
lib/functions/optiond-functions.php

I have replaced these files in my godaddy with godaddy FTP in the correct folders. when i go back to wordpress admin i still have the free one and not the paid one.  how do i get wordpress to reflect the paid version without deleting my blogs.

yes it would be easy just to upload the whole new file but i dont want my info lost.??????

consulted with magpress and iv already done what they have recommended.  This is the first time i deal with magpress website..  After all said and done they e mailed me and stated if i would allow them administrative access to my account on wordpress. im kind of hesitant on that since i dont know much about the comany.

Just started the blog not long ago so i only have one artible. I wanted to settle on wich wordpress theme first before i actualy start blogging steadily. .
