TweetMeme or Twitter Button for your Blog? (3 posts)

    Hi friends here at SME Networking Clubs.

    Trying to decide what is the best and most effective button to use to initiate a share of my articles.

    I guess I should have done a split test, but have not done so. 

    At the moment I use TweetMeme, and it works ok. The stats and info is ok. Though it done seem to pick up all info unless it was a direct retweet. 

    And the Twitter button is the same sometimes where it dont seem to pick up all the mentions. 

    So it is must to have my Twitter Notifications turned on, else I risk miss out responding. 

    Maybe there is some tweaking or parameters I might miss out on here. 

    Please share your experience and if you have a awesome hack then let me know.

    @aremorch I use Twitter’s official retweet button for the following reason.

    After someone uses it to retweet your post, you can have it suggest that they follow you as well. Great way to build followers!  Plus, when Twitter releases their own analytics, I would assume they would be able to measure activity through their own button better than the others.

    I think the WordPress plugin I use allows me to switch fairly easy. Sometimes it is all about just do it..
