SEO Blog Focus (5 posts)

  • I have my own company and try to inform my clients. My latest blog is SEO and Hot Dogs: Understanding Search Engine Optimization and wanted some input from some Pros and some beginners. If nothing else, I hope it helps you grasp SEO a little better.

There are so many different aspects of SEO. Let me know some of your views of SEO. Every little bit helps!

  • @travislodolinski I think you should start writing more often… this post is from December!  :)

  • I know I do. I work on multiple sites and and wish I had more time to develop my site. I’m a one man band in my marketing company. This post stemmed from multiple clients wanting to understand SEO.

  • I think it really depends on what you’re trying to achieve with your audience.  If you’re looking for traffic, how-to’s and infographics are a great way to drive traffic.  If you’re looking for leads (as an seo company I would assume so), I think educating on the importance of seo is a better way to go.

On my blog, I have a mixture of how-to’s, tips, infographics (that I do not make myself but do ask permission to use), informational posts “what is engagement?”, some inspirational “top 10 social media blogs”, etc. to drive traffic and leads.
I would suggest writing what you know because it flows much more easily and if you want to branch out, open your blog to guest bloggers that are experts in their area.

  • Hey thanks for the SEO Tips! Penguin has changed the SEO game a lot from what I understand. Check out my latest blog entry regarding companies that focus on information leadership today are key players in their industry; focusing on my area of Orlando Social Media: http://www.wsoaonline.com/internet-marketing/social-media.aspx
