Posting on Facebook, Google Plus and Twitter (4 posts)

    Hi,

    Does anyone have any advice on their strategy for posting on different social networks?  Do you post the same content on all 3 networks?  Or do you post different content on different networks?

    Had a search on the Social Media Examiner blog but couldn’t find any posts. 

    Would be good to hear your thoughts.

    @mrradioauto I use each social network differently. I typically send about 10 links of posts on online marketing on Twitter per day plus some conversational tweets. My Facebook page is more of a writing portfolio, so I only update it once a day max. My Facebook profile is for personal updates, although I’ll share some great post links there occasionally. And Google+ is just a great post every now and again. That’s my personal strategy at least.

    Thank you @kristi. Are the links directing people back to your blog? or are they informational links from other sources?

    I write my post, then using the ‘share’ icons, I post it to the social media channels. Then, usually, once per day I try to review and answer any comments or questions regarding the posts I have made.

    My current strategy is as follows. In the morning, I find all industry related content.  I take the most interesting post and put on FB. Least interesting goes on Google+ and then everything in-between goes to twitter!  So trying not to post same content on all 3 networks. 

    @lkellandmay Had a quick look and looks like Kristi is linking to other informative blogs. 

    I don’t do much with comments or questions at the moment, as not too much interaction yet.  Any suggestions on getting more interaction?
