I use a wordpress format on a self-hosted site. Since I am not uploading files, how do I post a pdf?
I do have another site that is hosted and I change the files in html. Should I just save the link there??????

@deereinhardt When logged in to your site and in your WordPress dashboard, you should be able to go Media > Add New and upload it that way. Then just copy the file URL to link it on your site or give it to others to download. The only limitation is that the file cannot be over 8MB.

I upload PDFs to my WordPress site all the time. Just use the Media uploader icon and, just like uploading a picture, click “Insert into post” (or page) and it will pop it right into the text editor. I just uploaded a PDF yesterday to my site, so it’s fresh in my mind.

That’s good to hear Laura Christianson, Blogging Bistro because up to now, I’ve been uploading the PDF’s to box.com and putting the link into my wordpress blog posts. I’ll go and give that a go tonight! Cheers.
