10 months, 1 week ago: @therealsupermum PageRank usually only matters to those who are trying to sell text link advertising on their blogs (which is a big no-no, btw). It’s based on the number of links you have to your blog and how high quality those links are (a link from CNN would be more beneficial than a link from a new site with no authority).
I usually suggest that bloggers focus on increasing their traffic and rankings for particular keywords in search over PageRank. If you have a lot of traffic from social and search, then you’ll get advertisers from that as well.
