Optimize Press Blog? (7 posts)

  • I need to use Optimize Press for several video projects, but one site must have a blog, too. The promo video shows no blog sample, though the copy on the site does make mention of its capability to also create a blog, I’m not comfortable buying something sight unseen.

Anyone know of sites using Optimize Press for their blog? Got any links where I could take a looksee?

    Thanks in advance!

  • @atlantarobin I was thinking about this very same thing. Optimize Press think would work as maybe a sub-domain to keep blog functionality. I have heard great things about using Optimize Press as a membership with Nanacast for affiliate management at half the cost of Kajabi.

  • @ptwylie My thouilghts exactly, Paul. It’s great as a membership site and I’ve been noticing more and more authors/gurus use it. It’s plain, pristine, simple, elegant… and on and on… but my question is about that blog part. I’ve seen hundreds of videos, PDF’s, downloads, you name it… on Optimize Press, but never a dang blog. I just wanna know what they look like. I like simple, no frills.

I thought about getting WP Sales Engine, a plug-in, which I really like, but I’d rather have a set and forget setup for these three sites I must build asap. Ever seen a blog on an Optimize Press site?

  • @atlantarobin the only examples I have seen are sales pages, landing pages. Here is a link to a review site on adding a blog however I have seen no example working websites. So I think that it is not possible.

  • @ptwylie Thanks for the link, Paul. That gave me some ideas.

  • I personally love using Premise by Copyblogger.  They are just coming out with a new upgrade that does membership sites, secure products, etc.  It is a plugin that you can install on a blog instead of in a separate directory. http://www.copyblogger.com/premise-2/

  • @atlantarobin There are some thoughts on OptimizePress and other landing page software in this thread.

Also, this site seems to be running OptimizePress as their blog theme.  Their menu also has different demos of landing pages, membership pages, etc.
