Magic Submitter to use or not to use? (8 posts)

  • I seem to be a bit of a rebel to my bosses orders but i have reason… In a meeting today i was told that i must use magic submitter to build backlinks. I was a little weary at first but then he went on about spinning i zoned out but surely anything that using spinning techniques and then puts all over the web is grey leaning to black? Is it wrong to use the software or am i just being full of it?

  • you are right, this is not what the search engines want. If your site is found to do things like that it will be punished.

  • @gusvdw45 Most of the sites that would even accept content from article spinning software were hit by Google Panda a long time ago – if they didn’t clean up their act (and crappy content) by now, then they probably still don’t rank well in Google and therefore can’t help you build valuable backlinks to your website.

Google is on a big push to rid their search engines of low-quality content, duplicate content, and any websites that are found to be using any grey or black-hat tactics to boost their rankings.

It’s not worth the risk to use this kind of software to *maybe* get a rankings boost and then get penalized for having an unnatural link profile. If you think it’s tough to build links, it’s a lot tougher (and time consuming) to get bad links to your website removed.

  •  wow this post does reconfirm that idea. I had heard of this method but have never used it. and am glad I do not. I first thought this blog was about how to do a blog post and send it to other bloging sites you use, with a push of one button. Is this spinning like the like programs used to get more likes on face book?

  • @gusvdw45

Gus, can you tell me exactly what Magic Submitter is? I’ve run across it before but can’t remember.

A submission tool is NOT totally bad or black hat per se. It’s what you do with it and how you use it that makes the difference. Is it bad to automate? No. Short of hitting the send button, I try to do everything I can to automate. But I ALWAYS submit anything to YouTube manually, never spin, but do rinse and repeat often, lol. I automate my research, use a rewriting tool often, and everything I write is 100% totally original, both in ideas, word, and deed.

But in this day and age, it’s really not wise to NOT automate as much as you can… and for very good reason. The English scholars in every country around the world can do your job, too, with ZERO mistakes and for far cheaper… like a tenth of the cost. You can NOT compete unless you automate. Just don’t duplicate. That’s the bugaboo. Stay original — always.

  • About the duplicate content issue…

Avoiding duplicate content ONLY matters if you are dependent on getting traffic from Google and need to rank on the first page to get your traffic.

There are other methods of getting traffic, especially viral traffic which does NOT come from Google at all. Chris Munch and his “Pigeon” series of traffic products are great examples of how NOT to depend on Google and still make a fortune.

His traffic generating systems all focus on other sources, which he first learned about when working for major companies generating traffic for them. After learning their secrets, he started putting their strategies to work for himself. He has the top-selling warrior forum product ever and everything he releases is a Top 100 seller. Meaning… internet marketers listen to him because what he does works.

So don’t think that all that “duplicate” content on Google’s going to disappear anytime soon. Garbage will disappear, but the day they take your original article offline and feature a copy, you’ll be screaming and begging otherwise. Bottom line is… not everyone needs Google… and those who don’t need it to generate their website’s traffic are the one’s to be following so YOU don’t have to be dependent on Big G either.

  • After Panda&Penguin updates you should forget about all kinds of automatic (aka spammy) links.

  • I did have Magic Submitter a year or so ago…… and at that time, I t was an excellent software (according to me), it did the job well…. and was so very powerful. I must have opened 25 Hotmail accounts and  the software went to many many many sites per hour and did its thing….. But… the best sites for backlinking are a little tough to establish a link on, they get mad at you, then they delete your link and label you as a spammer. I do not have any experience in SEO or Panda or Penguin, however, from what I have read, best to not use automation as Google seems to check as to how you obtained the backlink and then penalize you for garbage posts. I use Market Samurai to locate appropriate sites for backlinking and I feel great if I can make one or two posts a day….. There is a feeling that google does not like a person to get a huge pile of links each day……Now that I have said all that…… keep in mind that I have little knowledge of SEO
