Linking Images in Wordpress to another page (4 posts)

  • Hi All,

In the process of changing over a static site for a client to Wordpress so she can include her blog and social media etc.  Got that all done – thanks to anyone who offered suggestions for that.

Next issue is – I am creating a portfolio page that will link to another page that has a nexgen gallery on it.  Where do I put the link to the page since there is a link for the image source?  I think I will have to do this is in the html part of it unless someone can tell me otherwise.

  • If you have a portfolio that you use, why not leave it where it is and just link from WP to the portfolio? Seems to me that wold be the easiest way to do it andyou can figure out how to make it better while still having it in place.

  • Thanks Mac, but I actually figured out in the coding what I need to do.  The image source remains where it is in the code, but the a href changes to the page to which I would like to image to link.

  • Can’t you do this by typing the link into the destination url when you import the image? Or am I missing something?
