My company runs a social network and does internet security. It is hard to miss the social network, but very few people notice that we do internet security even when they are reading our blog on internet security. I keep our security youtube channel up to date http://youtube.com/planetzuda, I update the blog as often as I can, yet very few people realize that my company is really good at security. I really would appreciate some pointers on what mistakes my company is making http://planetzuda.com/news/

@planetzuda Just by taking a peek at both links, I get the feeling your website is more of a blog than a business. You might want to look into themes for your website that puts your business first. Sucuri is a great example (http://sucuri.net/) – while they have an awesome security blog, when you go to their website, you see a professional interface about their business services first.
As for your YouTube channel, you might want to change the description to say that you are an Internet security service provider and link to both your blog and the page on your website that talks about your services.

@kristi-hines: I can’t modify my entire site, because a big portion of it is my social network. My business does two things. It has a social network with a revamp coming super soon and internet security. How would you approach having a business with two different services? Same goes for my youtube channel. My company covers social media news and security news. I will be covering my social network news on there as well. Thanks for your input!

I visited your site and it looks more like a blog than a business… the only way of knowing you offer some kind of services is on the menu, but when I click it doesn’t show me any kind of information of who you are…
if you didn’t wrote here that you also have a business I wouldn’t know, I still don’t know where your business is, do you have another site for it or am I just blind?
I think it should be a more clear separation between your business and your blog, It’s a little confusing

@hytare, thank you for your feedback. I am trying to make the site more clear that what we do is security http://planetzuda.com/news/. I made some significant changes. I am making a theme custom tailored for our site to make it even better.
