    I would like to test imbedding a survey into my blog article as a way to get folks to add comments and responses to the discussion. 

    Since I always post the blog to LinkedIn (my business is B2B only), I initially thought using the LinkedIn survey tool would be the right way to go… but it only allows 1 question, so I have decided to try out the Survey Monkey tool. 

    Does anyone have any experience with this?  Are there any best practices I should consider?  Any other free survey tools out there that I should be looking at?

    Hi Evelyn, I’ve used Survey Monkey several times. Then I decided I could use Google Docs (FREE) and get the same results.

    Just to be clear, I only used Google Docs when sending survey’s to my email list.

    I’ve not used it within an article or post.

    @evelyneoreskovich You might want to go with Google Docs as  @glenandrews suggested. There is an option to embed the forms you create as an iframe which you should be able to add to your posts.

    Alternatively, you can look at WordPress survey plugins (if you use WordPress, that is). This is an example: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/surveys/
