HubSpot Blogging – Tips to Share (4 posts)

  • Hi All,

At my last job, I did all my blogging through Wordpress. I was generally pleased with everything it offered. Lots of fun plugins and what not. But now, my new company goes through HubSpot. So, gone are my fun plugins. Granted, if you or someone on your staff can do some modest coding, you can really make your blog how you want on HubSpot, but most of the ease of use I was used to with Wordpress is lost.

Does anyone have any insight into how to quickly and easily make aesthetic changes or other useful steps to take to make a more well rounded HubSpot blog?

  • @ryansegovich Hi Ryan.  Sorry I missed your question a couple of days ago.  I don’t have any experience with HubSpot, but I know that there are a few other threads on it that you can find here.

Hope they have some good information from other HS users!

  • Hey Ryan,

I worked at HubSpot for nearly 2 years as a consultant. There are plenty of things you can do to spice up your HubSpot blog.

You can add custom custom styling to your blog in the page properties -> html head tag area.

You can also insert custom javascript there to add floating social media icons, a wibya bar like you see on this site, etc.

You can do a lot to spruce up the site and make it feel more wordpressy =)

Shoot me a tweet if you have any other questions

  • Contact Hubspot customer service directly. Get one of their consultants who specializes in this to advise you. In a one to one with the right person from the original source, you are most likely to get the best possible result.
