  • Do you use Hubspot? We have a few clients that use it and some that are moving in that direction.

I really like the platform and the whole philosophy behind it. One problem we have is that clients love to get in there and tinker, and it drives our layout/graphics folks crazy.

Anyone have similar experiences. Do you have best practices/tips for dealing with these situations?

  • I have a question:

    1. do you set the account up for them? OR, do you manage an existing account?

If you set the account up for them, maybe they just want to know what you’re doing, and how to work the program.  If that’s the case, what I do with my clients is, I explain the program to them, tell them what I do and how it’d done, so that if they want to go in and change things, they can.

If you manage their existing account, maybe they just want to check in every now and again.

I’m not sure if this was the answer you were looking for, but hope it helps! :)

  • One of our existing clients started putting buttons and HS code into a site we built for them, and it’s just starting to get messy. They’re losing some of the branding and page organization that we worked on.

They handle the management of day-to-day campaigns and tracking.

  • @phildunn Hi Phil!  I have not experience with Hubspot outside of their free tools.  Did you see the thread on whether Hubspot is worth the money?

  • Just read through that  @kristi-hines – thanks for the tip.

I’m wondering if others have difficulty integrating HS snippets within WordPress. . I’ll post over there.

  • I have not found clients willing to invest in Hubspot. I’m interested in their services but wish they had a lower entrance threshold.

  • I just spoke to a small business owner and she raves it. They too were concerned about the pricepoint, but she showed me the leads generator chart and how they went from 5 leads per month to 84 per month. And she said 84 leads in her business is amazing! I guess if you use it properly, sound like it can really pay for itself. @judithgotwald
