How to set visible sub-category menu? (4 posts)

  • Hi,

    I am creating a website and I want to show my sub-menu items visible when clicked on the sub-menu items.

    Currently, when you clicked on the main-menu item which has sub-category pages they remain open but when you clicked on sub-category pages the menu did not stay visible.

    Below is the link of my site;

    Some help from any one would be appreciated!

    Thanks & Regards,

    Ayaz

  • @ayaz1 If your site is in WordPress, depending on the theme, you can use the Menus under the Appearance area of your dashboard to create menu items.  For sub-menus, just make sure to place those items under the main menu heading to where it is indented.

  • @kristi-hines Thanks kristi for answering but if you check the link I have managed to get the drop down menu working.

    My question is more about the coding point of view.

    The sub-menu appears when you hover on the main-menu which contains the sub-category pages. and I want those sub-category or sub-menu to be visible when any one click on one of the sub-menu listed pages.

  • @ayaz1 Beyond the WordPress menus, I’m not sure what other coding would be involved.  Hopefully we have a coding guru in here that might can figure this out though.  :)
