How to add hyperlinks for authors in Wordpress comment form (5 posts)

    Hi everyone!

    I just noticed that when someone leaves a comment in my Wordpress blog, the hyperlink under their name does not appear. I have commentluv installed, but there’s no way to click on an author’s name and link back to their site.

     I tried installing Author Exposed plugin, but it’s not working.

    Any thoughts?

    Could it be that CommentLuv is the problem? What happens if you disable it?

    Thanks Erik–I started with CommentLuv but couldn’t find any info re: author links. Most of their info is how to enable, and setup their plugin.

    I could try disabling commentluv, but the links to their posts show just fine…

    It’s weird, cuz the default in the public page shows all caps for author info, but not in comments dashboard.

    May have to call the designer and have them fix it :( .

    @lindaesposito WordPress by default links the comment author’s name to their website.  I see that the comment form is asking for the website, so it could be something missing in the theme’s comment template.   The designer should be able to fix it for you.  :)
