How Many Blogs Keep/update? (5 posts)

    I have heard of people keeping many, many blogs. How many do you have. I have 2 and am wondering if you have many, how do you keep things updated? And I fyou have multiple blogs on the same topic, how do you avoid duplicate information/content?

    I have 3 blogs, but for each I have different ways of Keeping things fresh. For instance for one its a personal blog that I use as a sort of diary. Next is my sports blog, and because I am passionate about it I can keep things updated. Lastly I have a digital marketing blog, that I encourage guest blogging and I would say that 80% of my content comes from outside sources.

    @lkellandmay, have as many blogs as you can put in the time to effectively mange. Remember that content regurgitation is not flattering, for anyone, originality is key. Try to make sure it doesn’t completely run your life; keep it all in perspective. If you feel there is a topic you must get into, ok but make sure the quality on your main blog, your money maker if you have one, doesn’t drop off. I think there is a tendency for people to take on too much. Have fun blogging!

    @calepissarra thank you for your insight. Keeping several blogs afloat is a challenge I’m sure. When getting outside sources do you use ezine articles, squidoo lens etc? or do you get friends/collegues to help you?

    @glengorhamI think the originality is important in the SEO scheme of things. I have 2 horse riding related blogs. Showing and one training. I link one to the other to help things out as well as getting business ideas from business blogs for them as the business of horses/training and showing is a big business.

    @lkellandmay I use myblogguest, but I also have a constant flow of regular writers who send in content. This all comes with time and the more traffic you start getting the more opportunities arise. Otherwise it’s generally me and friends who post on my other blogs
