HOW do you get the @with name (8 posts)

    OK…I could try and figure it out…but I am being transparent here.  HOW THE heck are You using the @ sign and getting the highlighted name to come up in response to a question.  I’m sure it’s easy…I just can’t figure it out. 

    I have come to just “ask” then I know :)

    A few things:

    1. Be sure to check out our getting started guide here:

    2. When you see someone post something, in the upper right is their @username  Simply type that in and they will be notified of your reply (kinda like Google+ but you need to type it in fully)

    @leilajones I’ve been copying & pasting the @name in the top right corner of everyone’s messages since people’s usernames vary – some with dashes, some without.  :)

    @leilajones You can now click on the person’s @ name in a thread and it will copy into the reply box

    Is there a way to change your @ name? I signed up via facebook and it pulled in Michaelmurphy which is my given name but I go by Mickey and I would prefer that to be my @ name.

    @michaelmurphy sorry to inform you but once done, you can’t do that, and even if SME Club allows that, it may lead you to lose all your previous transactions/interaction with the club members. But again, at this point, club has no such system to let users change @ name. Sorry for that :(
