Merry Christmas everybody,
i was reading a blog that emphasizes on the importance to have a mobile web site, not mobilized one, i would be thankful if anybody here can help.
How can we make a mobile web site , is there a specialized application to do so ?
what info should be mentioned in ?
what you should avoid to include ?

Not sure if this question really belongs here, but here are a few pointers:1. Different mobiles will have different form factors, so make sure your site can autosize using CSS margin:0 auto2. Make sure that each of your images are below 5K in size3. Do not use flash as that will not render on iOS devices

I’m not sure what you mean by “mobile web site, not mobilized one” but if you want a Wordpress blog to be easily accessible by mobile devices I suggest you give Wptouch a try.

The term mobile web site refers to a wed site that is specially created and designed to be view bu mobiles , where as mobilized web site is a regular web site that enables that capability to be viewed by mobile phone , a great difference.
you can check mobilized web sites and see the difference while viewing mobile web site.

@waelalhusseini Hi Wael. This is a good spot for your question. If you have a website / blog on WordPress, you can try one of the following plugins.
- http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-mobile-pack/
- http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wptouch/
These plugins will create a mobile theme for your website that automatically redirects visitors on a mobile browser to a simpler mobile theme. There are others out there too (just Google wordpress mobile plugin) but these are two I’ve tried and had success with. Reminds me that I need to install one on my main site again too!

If you don’t mind paying monthly I think www.dudamobile.com/ is best in class. If you do mind paying, I would suggest what @kristi-hines said. If you are a developer, what @ashpadhye said.

@waelalhusseini there are lots of options (free and premium both!) for wp blogs but as you are talking about websites, i would suggest one of widely used PHP Mobilizer that is available on google code ( http://code.google.com/p/phpmobilizer/) and one from google’s own suit: http://www.howtogomo.com/en/#homepage here you can first tryout how your site looks in mobile device at the present time, and you can also get a suggestion report with improvement suggestions!
