Hosting at ipower.com – WP seems very slow – any experience? (5 posts)

    As a web developer, I do not move my clients to as new host unless there are issues with the current one. I just ‘inherited’ an ipower hosting and set up WordPress. I’d love to be in denial about this but it seems slooooow to me. Anyone have experience with ipower.com and wordpress?  I checked that it is Linux already. Thanks!

    ipower is 100% wind powered, maybe they need a stronger breeze.
    Generally the company does not have a great reputation, they are good for people with low traffic blogs and for people who are Green (wind power!). 
    If I you have a decent client,  consider moving to a better host.

    I had a client using Ipower and not only was it slow but the customer service was outsourced and didn’t seem to be very knowledgeable. Just my opinion.

    Hmm… well I did have issues with them with another customer on another platform. I was trying to keep an open mind, but you all are saying the same thing… If anyone else has feedback I’ll be grateful and I’ll be talking to the client tomorrow.
