This week is a special one – it’s been one year since Social Media Examiner launched the Networking Clubs!
To celebrate, I would like to invite everyone to share some of the most valuable things you have learned here as well as anything you would love to see in the Blogging Club so we can make it THE place to be to discuss blogging and content marketing in 2013!

I really appreciate this site and the people who post here. I will not list a lot of specifics but I have learned a tremendous amount on a daily basis from the excellent posts.

I’ve learned that a lot of people are in the same boat as me … many of us are experimenting with social media for business with some successes and lots of confusion especially with all of the new social media sites and applications launched everyday. It’s hard to keep up but Socialmediaexaminer.com members make the pathway clearer!

One of the best things I’ve gotten from these clubs is friendship with people who have similar businesses as mine. It’s nice to know I’m not the “only one”. I cherish my virtual friendships.

I have learned that I am inconsistent sometimes due to scheduling. I’ve learned that this is a great resource if you take the time to use it. On the other hand, I’ve met two connections on here that have become friends over the past year!

I’m with everyone else in that I definitely appreciate the wonderful friendships I’ve made here, too.
We’re all professional communicators here — whether by design, necessity or happenstance makes no difference. I love being immersed in words, pictures, and music given special impact by the invent of all that techy magic of the internet. Meaning, I think we all have the most fun and exciting jobs in the history of… well… history! And Social Media Examiner has provided us all with a magical place to bump heads and share ideas and learn something new daily. Just magical!
Plus, even after a year… I still love the little Camper theme here. Too cute and oh-so-fun!

Happy 1st Birthday, Social Media Examiner’s Networking Clubs! I remember well when I first met this little baby on Christmas Day…and just knew you were something special the minute I laid eyes on you. Committed right then and there to watching you grow up.
