  • how to get people to guest post on my blog

  • @boomboo

There are a lot of services out there that help you find bloggers to do guest posts.

    myblogguest.combloggerlinkup.comblogdash.com (Thanks @kristi-hines)guestr.com

You can try doing a Google search and look for “”guest blog” keyword” or “”submit guest blog post” keyword” and find blogs that allow guest blogging opportunities on their site and ask if they’d like to do a swap. Make sure “guest blog” or “submit guest blog post” is in parenthesis and include a keyword to help narrow down the type of results you get back.  Choose keywords that are similar to the type of content you want to post.

You can also advertise it on your blog.

  • thanks for you reply i will try what you have just mentioned

  • I have a few tips and tricks on  http://dynamitemarketingonline.com/search-engine-optimisation/blogging-strategies-how-to-increase-blog-traffic-fast-with-guest-posting/

  • I welcome Guest Post Swapping on my blog  http://www.satinderspace.com/p/write-4-us.html

  • What is the benefit of having a guest blogger post on my blog? What kind of things should I be looking for in a guest blogger?

  • @mholandez the point of guest bloggers is to

    a) Provide interesting content for your users which you don’t need to create. b) Build relationships with other bloggers – if they guest blog for you, you may be able to do the same for them. c) If you work it right, you may be able to get a referral link back to your blog from theirs.

The guest blogger’s incentive is to get links back to their own blog/twitter/facebook etc

You’ll want someone who can offer complementary content to your own, and someone that has the level of quality that you require. You can also set standards e.g. set picture size standards that they have to adhere to.

    Hope that helps!

  • @Louissayers Yes that helps, thanks. Should the guest blogger have a page rank on their blog, or does that not matter?

  • @mholandez – of course if they are a higher ranking blog then that is better, you should be able to see how active a blog is by the number of comments, posts etc. I guess it doesn’t matter so much if you’re just starting out because any back links to your blog is beneficial, but of course you don’t want to waste your time and guest post to a dead blog.

  • @louissayers Thanks so much for your time.

  • @mholandez no worries

  • Guest posting is fine as long as it’s original, otherwise you’ll have duplicate content which is not good for SEO.
