I’ve noticed that my blog posts are bringing in more traffic since I’ve added Google authorship to my site. It’s actually an easy thing to do, with a WordPress site. Just add a plug in. I think that Google will be using this feature a lot in future to determine duplicate content, therefore we need to get with it right away.

Amy, that’s a very rich and meaty article you came across! I think I’ve mentioned here in the Clubs that I’ve noticed I got an instant boost in rank and saw my little face start popping up all over when I first signed onto that Authorship thangy. Now they’re saying it’s not even fully gungho yet? Oh, goody! Maybe I’ll be an early bloomer there after all, lol!
Which reminds me… I have a faint memory of someone posting the difference between the memberships for Twitter, Facebook, and Google Plus. Something like the PosterChild for Twitter is Justin Beiber, Rhianna for Facebook, and Einstein for Google Plus. Nuff said, fellow Authors! Too funny…

Couldn’t agree more, we all need to get in on this.
It’s great for improving CTR.
I’m actually shocked that so many large publishing companies; mainly offline magazines that have huge blogs haven’t taken more interest in this.
If it can make a big difference on sites with say a few hundred articles then just think how much difference it could make on sites with 10,000+.

It seems that when people can see a picture of the author on a search they are doing about something, they are more likely to click that post.
