Hi Everyone!
Just off the wonderful WordCamp experience in San Diego and I have signed up for WordCamp in Orange County. I’d like to know if anyone plans on attending and if you are if you’d like to meet for coffee during the event?

Would love to attend but that’s a tad far for a commute; I’m in Kansas. ;D
The WP Candy Quarterly Magazine (issue #1) is loaded with pictures from WordCamp around the world. Inspired as I am about WP right now and as much as I’d dearly love to attend a WordCamp, any WordCamp, anywhere, I’ll be stuck here reading about and drooling over photos (& videos) of these events as they air online.
However, when you sit down to have a cup of coffee, shoot us an update and tell us about the coffee; good or bad – Heh – just yankin’ youz chain.
Have a great time – lift a cup of something for me (wine, screwdriver, tequila, margarita, or yes, coffee too!).
Shucks – I miss everything!

@supereb Have you checked out the videos from the WordCamps. They are rough, but you can learn lots from them.
@charlene-kingston Only 54 tickets left and they went on sale last week.They’re going fast! ONe of the best things about WordCamp is the ability to be around other people that are as passionate about WordPress as I am.

@supereb What is sooo cool about the WordCamps is that everyone volunteers their time to speak and coordinate the event. It’s so heartwarming to see so many people that love to give back to the community.

See, that’s the thing that has attracted me to the WP and WP Candy community too – that so MANY people have embraced the platform and are willing to help out with just about any anomaly you run across. Someone out there knows whats what and is willing to share that knowledge with those of us who are not WP gurus.
It is heartwarming; it’s visible; it’s easy to become engrossed with these folks and what they have to offer. :D
