Free Spaaze to brainstorm, organize blog/book; Use w/Jing for video / phot (3 posts)

Topic tags: content generation
  • Came across this cool tool called Spaaze. It’s an online cork board you can use to:

    • brainstorm or organize projects, blogs, books, student work
    • display online work, projects, photos, artwork
    • use with Jing to create video to post to blog, on Youtube etc
    • use with Jing with your project as background, post your whole project on display, take photo of it to post on blog, narrate voiceover

This is so cool… and free (w/cheap upgrades if you wish).

Anyone use this before? I just found this but trying it today. Will report back on what I find after using. Please share your experience with Spaaze. Here’s the link:

  • @atlantarobin I’ll check it out, but it sounds a bit like Pinterest (http://pinterest.com/).

I use mine (http://pinterest.com/kristihines/) for a variety of things, but it’s basically a way to bookmark images in a vision board style setting. You can even create collaborative boards so multiple people can share items on one board.

I wrote a huge post on it a few weeks ago. Seems to be building up some potential.

Similar, but with Spaaz, you can add video, audio, documents via urls. Create a little label or note, click on it and your video can open right on the board or in a new window.

You can surf the web and use this as your bookmarking page, copying your favs and visually cluster related ones together or you could collect your fav YouTube videos , make a note with titles on it, and group them together, too.

Then go to another part of your board and make a visual index or category titles, tack them on the board and create a hotspot so you jump back to your videos or jump to your fav docs just by pressing a button on the board.

I like it Spaaze more  than Pinterest. A little more versatile, but money follows numbers, so maybe Pinterest will improve.
