Hi All,
Recently I have noticed that there are a number of websites that have been duplicating posts from my website.
I was wondering what steps you take to get these duplicate posts removed.

Copyscape has “Responding to Plagiarism” page where they give some tips on how to deal with plagiarism. I don’t have any personal experience with this. Hopefully someone who has will join the conversation.

@samscholfield Hi Sam, email the culprits and ask them to remove the content.
If this doesn’t work, you can send an email to their hosting account explaining the issue.
You can also install a plugin (Wordpress) that will help stop “right-click” copying in the future.
Go to plugins and type in “copy protect” to see a host of plugins.

I wouldn’t suggest implementing any functionality that prevents users from being able to “right-click”
To learn reason why not, you can read :Don’t Disable Right Click!

@Sam Scholfield have you registered with google as an Author? https://plus.google.com/authorship – disabling right click even for images is fruitless as long as you can do screen captures – you can watermark your docs & images too
