Compare Kissmetrics, Hubze and Hubspot or others (6 posts)

  • I’d be interested in knowing how these services compare. What is your experience?

  • a search for Kissmetrics in the search bar above to the right will show you a number of results from the forum. Hopefully one of those will help.

  • Hi @judithgotwald,

I’m wondering what you’re looking to compare.  I’ve used all 3 sites however they offer different services on each.

If you’re talking in terms of analytics for your website or blog, I’d say Hubspot hands down, very comprehensive product.

If you’re talking about a website that sells products, Kissmetrics would be the way to go as they are very conversion focused and learning more about the people that visit the site and what actions they take.

Hubze leans toward social media with their primary services being focused on Facebook.

All are good options but it really depends on what you’re looking to achieve.

  • That’s helpful. I may be looking for all of these at some point. There was such a range in costs and I am inundated with emails from all that I just didn’t know one from the other.

Hubspot produces great content but is out of reach at the moment in costs for most of my clients . . . yet I’d love to attract clients that are up to using their services.

I find the Kissmetric blog to be more concise and to the point and therefore very helpful. But when I looked at the web site I wasn’t sure what they were selling exactly. Their costs are more within range for my clients but couldn’t figure out exactly how thy differed from Hubspot.

I lost track of Hubze a long time ago and was not sure what they are about.

  • @judithgotwald Hubspot is definitely worth the investment however it is a project.  You really need to have time to sit down and figure it out and if you’re looking into it for clients to have them run it for themselves…you should make sure they know that there will be a time commitment to learning it.

Kissmetrics is a little more simplified and as I mentioned earlier, very conversion focused.

If you’re looking for analytics tools that are relatively simple to understand, I’d say go Google.  If you need something a little heftier without a huge price tag and great tools, go seomoz.  I think those have more simple to understand analytics set-ups and seomoz has amazing customer service.
If that’s not what you’re looking for, let me know some specifics and I can point you in the right direction.

  • Thank you! I will let you know what I’m looking for when I figure that out!
