Brilliant article on blogging and creating content for your blog (6 posts)

  • This makes so much sense to me. Like on Tip #1 – Know Your Audience – I can’t tell you how many times I coach people to find a blog topic that YOUR AUDIENCE is interested in … not just one you want to write about. And what do I do when it comes to write my own blog? I go back to the last few questions that I answered and write about those. Hopefully, if one person is asking the question even more people need the answer.

Any Hooo here’s the article http://windmillnetworking.com/2012/08/10/create-high-quality-content-blogs-newsletters-content-marketing/

  • Great article, @amyhallbiz.   I totally agree you have to write for your audience. Thanks for sharing.

  • Hi Amy @amyhallbiz and Diane @dianebianchi

This list is a good indication that quality content can be uh, rewritten in your own words.  This is not a new list, however it includes some insight that seems to put Neal’s contribution at a place a cut above many lists and recommendations.

    Nice find.  :D

  • Nice to see simple steps to follow. Simple and straight forward.

  • I believe if you write for your audience and support them and offer them the answers they are searching you create loyal readers. I also like to input some personal touches inside my content so they feel its personal and I always talk to them- ask them questions so they feel they can get involved with the post too.

  • I watch the search engine terms. They have defined my audience . . . and they are not who I thought they were! But they found something on my site, seemed to be loyal and growing. I shifted my content to serve them without abandoning my “dream” audience. They are growing, too. Just not as fast!
