1 year, 1 month ago: There are more than 40 different blogging platforms, so really, any of them are okay. TypePad is a very good one, although you have to pay for it. Posterous is good, but may be going away after Twitter bought it. And Tumblr is good for short form blogging, although it may not be as professional as WordPress. I like Blogger (my personal blog is on it), but I don’t like it for a professional blog. It doesn’t have the same look or functionality I would want in something for a full-fledged business.
Of these, TypePad will be your best bet for a professional-looking blog. But I would still go with WordPress.
