1 year, 1 month ago: Go to blogging conferences. I’ll be at Blog World Expo in New York in June, and there will be hundreds, if not thousands, of bloggers there.
Check Meetup.org to see if there are any meetups for fellow bloggers. If there aren’t, start one. Reach out to other bloggers in your area, and arrange monthly gatherings where you could share knowledge.
Also check to see if there is a Social Media Club chapter or Digital Marketing group in your city and start hanging out there too. There are always going to be bloggers in the midst.
Finally, as you meet local bloggers, start arranging face-to-face meetings with them over lunch or coffee, and talk about blogging. Learn from them, teach them what you know. Do this enough, and you’ll be the go to person for blogging in your city. Soon, bloggers will be coming to you, and you’ll know dozens if not hundreds of them.
