    My website is two weeks new with a custom domain & relevant to my product. 0 views. Last week, the first week, my Manta stats jumped to 406 views but went no farther, or at least not to my web page which is a very simple one. My site shows good on Bing, used to on Google. I post blogs on wordpress.So Glen, to answer the question “what do I hope to learn hear?” Answer..The proper way to draw traffic to my site. I’m not using PPC and I don’t want a bad mark on facebook or Twitter, although I’ve acquired a decent friendship list to chat with. .So there it is… all.   .

    @dickieharrold it sounds like you are in the right place to start. Going from 0 to 406 views is a great start. Look around the http://www.socialmediaexaminer.com website for articles on blogging and read the older posts in the forums. Make sure you have identified your target audience and give them what they need to come back.

    @dickieharrold that is the million dollar question. Why does George Foreman advertising during the Price is Right increase sales for a client by over 100%. In the GF example, we don’t care. Just run the advert again. Not knowing your site, telling why something does not work is just too hard to answer.

    Yes Mac, I have to agree with you. I know not to expect much in two weeks, 406 views threw me off. I’m nearly 54 and never till four months ago started learning my way around a computer, ever. Never owned one till two years ago, even then I would go to Microsoft Words only and write, that was it. Again to answer Ben’s question, I’m here to learn.  Thank you Mac.
