An interesting doodle for blogs (6 posts)

  • Check out Wordle.net What is interesting about this is that it weighs the words on your blog site (well anything with an RSS feed) and you visually see what you talk the most about. Don’t like what you see? Start talking about it more. But it is mainly a cool graphic about your site.

Here is mine off my blog site
Obviously I talk a lot about coffee, but maybe I can pick up on some of the smaller words and emphasize them more eh? Maybe my SEO keywords of choice need to be larger which means I use them more which means I am found more… dunno, don’t want to put too much weight on this but there you go… (I always take something that may be simple and complicate it up)

  • @glengorham I love Wordle – best part is that they give you the freedom to do anything you want with the images you create!  :)

  • @glengorham interesting, I haven’t used it for some time, just checked it this morning, and I love the RSS feed options, this may be a good idea for a new blog post!

    Cheers!

  • @glengorham — I first heard about Wordle in 2010 and have used it for various “projects”since then. Last Christmas, I created personalized cards for several people on my mailing list — it was cool and I received a lot of compliments for them (no one believed it was so easy to create the intricate doodles).

However, I’ve not used Wordle on my blog.  I will give it a try. I agree with  @hesham that the result will make a good blog post.  If mine turns out well, I might use it as a sticky item on one of my blogs.

  • @glengorham thanks for bringing this up. I had pushed it to a back burner and forgotten about it

  • I love that when I clicked on it it started with JAVA and ended with Coffee!
