I’d make sure to have a plan for how often you are going to post and stick to it. I’d also concentrate on crafting messages your audience wants to hear or learn.
Also think about who your audience is … do you have a captive audience of members, current customers or donors or are you having to start from scratch and need to attract an audience?
If you have a captive audience, make sure that you have promoted the blog to them and asked them to opt in to receive it. If you don’t have a captive audience, promote your blog on relevant LinkedIn groups and be sure to include easy ways to subscribe via email or RSS feed.
