10 months, 2 weeks ago: @susanavello I always suggest switching over to a self-hosted WordPress.org blog, especially if you are going to use your blog to make money online or promote your business. If you think you will want to move it in the future, it probably isn’t a bad idea to move it sooner than later so that you don’t build a lot of traffic and subscribers to one URL (yourblog.wordpress.com) and have to port them to your new domain (yourdomain.com).
If you don’t plan on moving, or even need to, you can use the Text Widget and then add the code provided for the Twitter follow button (https://twitter.com/about/resources/buttons), Facebook like button for pages (https://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/like/), Facebook subscribe button for profiles (https://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/subscribe/), etc.
Alternatively, you can use the Text Widget, grab some matching social icons, and link the icons to your profiles using HTML code.
