Facebook Updates Events Interface: Several changes make Facebook Events easier to use. There’s more flexibility when creating an Event and it’s easier to find an option to create a Facebook Event for your particular needs. There are also changes to the Event pages including the wall only allowing comments from people who say they’re attending or might do so. And the Event page wall now shows updates by order of engagement.

Fewer fields are required to create an Event. You now have the option to create an Event without a location and allow anyone who joins to set the location later on.

Facebook Adds Subscribe Feature to Personal Profiles: You can now allow people to subscribe to your updates on your Facebook personal profile (think Twitter follow).  This gives your friends control over what they see from you.  People who are not your friends can also subscribe (subscribers only see things you share publicly). When people subscribe, they can filter the types of updates they want to follow.

Subscribers can select updates about Life Events, Status Updates, Photos and Videos or Games.
